This site uses a very small number of cookies, all of them functional. There are no advertising cookies, no marketing pixels and no third-party analytics tracker.
What we set
- Language preference: remembers whether you last viewed the site in English or Chinese, so the next page opens in the same language.
- Administration cookies: set only when a staff member logs into the site backend. They are not issued to ordinary visitors.
- Form security token: a short-lived value that protects the enquiry, sample and failure-analysis forms from forged submissions.
What we do not set
We do not set profiling or behavioural cookies, we do not run A/B testing services, and we do not embed video or social widgets that place their own cookies before you interact with them. Social links are ordinary hyperlinks.
Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings for this site without losing access to the content. Blocking the functional cookies above will break the forms, and the site will ask you for your language on every page.
Server logs
Like any public website, our server records the request line, the referring address, the IP address and the user agent for security and abuse control. That is log data, not a cookie.
